Let’s say you want to lose weight, but you have a self-limiting belief that skinny people look unattractive. Your subconscious mind will cling to this belief, making it difficult for you to lose weight.
So, what can you do about it?
The first step is to make a choice.
Choose what you want to achieve, and commit to it. Start with 1-3 choice affirmations, such as “I choose to reduce my weight” or “I choose to control my appetite.” Repeat these affirmations throughout the day to instill your intention and commitment in your subconscious mind.
Changing your beliefs can be a simple process, but it takes time and effort. Over time, as you continue to repeat your affirmations, your self-limiting beliefs will lose their power over you. You will develop new, empowering beliefs that will positively influence your life.
